In the springtime of my first year in medical school, my mother Rose died of complications of diabetes. She was age 54, and that was 1968.

If she had the medicines we have today -  those that our center and patients have been privileged to help evaluate and bring to market safely -  she would have lived many more happy and productive years.

Our passion is to continue to benefit other mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, with better health today and better medicines for tomorrow. We do this by choosing studies that deliver benefits to the patients who participate in them and that test medications that have the greatest potential for improving health safely."
